Why we are doing this
Easy Takeoffs has been free since launch. The product has grown a lot in that time: assemblies, tool sets, plan revisions, the learning center, multi-user share links, and dozens of smaller wins and quality of life improvements along the way. Keeping that running and shipping what comes next requires real revenue.
Going paid is how we keep building. We chose the price to stay friendly to contractors: $39 a month is roughly one billable hour. That is less than every other professional takeoff tool on the market, by a wide margin.
What is coming next
This is the start of the next chapter. Here is what is already in motion:
- Teams. Shared workspaces and team-level access controls so your whole crew can work on the same projects.
- Estimating panel. Material pricing, labor rates, cost rollups, and bid-ready estimates built straight from your measurements.
- AI assistance. Automated counting and detection that proposes measurements you approve in a click.
- Smarter PDF uploads. Better page detection, combining, and handling for the largest plan sets.
- Quality of life. Automatic page names, document search, and a steady stream of small improvements that make every job faster.

Subscribe in that window and the rate is yours as long as the subscription stays continuous. The offer shows up on your dashboard and in the billing tab.
What is not changing
Your account, projects, measurements, scales, groups, and PDFs stay exactly where they are. Existing share links keep working. Lapsed users keep full read-only access to everything. You can cancel any time from settings.
