Curved Measurements, and a Takeoff Summary in Your Exports

Measure curved walls and drives with true arcs, print each sheet's totals right on the sheet, and end every export with one clean Takeoff Summary.

Highlights

  • Curve any segment of a line, polyline, or area into a true arc
  • Print a legend of each sheet's group totals in the corner you pick
  • Exports end with one Takeoff Summary: group totals, then materials
  • Show every length as total inches or whole centimeters
  • Erase just part of a freehand or highlighter stroke

Measure Curves as Curves

Curved walls, arched driveways, radius patios: until now you had to trace them as a chain of short straight lines. Now any segment of a line, polyline, or area can curve into a true arc. While drawing, press A or tap the curve button, click the top of the curve, and keep going. On anything already placed, drag the middle of a segment to bend it, and right-click for Straighten Curve or Set Radius. Lengths and areas come from exact arc math, on screen and in every export, so the number on a curved wall is the real one.

Exports That Explain Themselves

Two upgrades to PDF export. Turn on the new measurement legend and each exported sheet prints its own totals in the corner you pick: every group with its color and what it measures on that sheet, so whoever opens the drawing sees the numbers without asking. And the pages at the end are now one Takeoff Summary: group totals first, the material breakdown behind them, and, if you choose to list your markups, they close out the same report instead of starting a second one. Everything lives in the export dialog.

Quality of Life Fixes

Lengths in small units. The new Length Format setting shows every length as total inches (150" instead of 12'-6") or whole centimeters, everywhere lengths appear.

Erase part of a stroke. The new Eraser in the Draw section trims freehand and highlighter marks where you sweep it, instead of deleting the whole stroke.

Duplicate a group. One click in the group menu copies a group's full setup (name, color, template, materials) without its measurements, ready for the next size or variant.

Everything stays on the page. Moving, duplicating, or pasting can no longer push items off the sheet, so nothing goes missing from an exported PDF.
