What's New Page
You are reading it. Easy Takeoffs now has a dedicated page for tracking every feature, improvement, and fix we ship. Each update gets its own detail page with highlights and a full breakdown of what changed.
Public Roadmap
The punch list at the bottom of this page shows what we are actively building and what is planned next. No vague timelines or corporate roadmap theater. Just a clear list of what is in progress and what is on deck.
Quality of Life Fixes
Area labels now show "sf" instead of "sq ft." Shorter, cleaner, and matches how most contractors write it on paper. Display only change, your stored measurements are untouched.
Cutouts return to the pointer tool after completion. Previously the tool stayed on the area tool after finishing a cutout, which meant you could accidentally start drawing a new measurement. Now it switches back to the pointer so you can review what you just drew.
Unsupported browser detection. Older browsers that cannot run Easy Takeoffs properly now see a warning banner instead of a broken interface.
Updated navigation. The navbar now includes a Home link and a Resources dropdown grouping Compare, Blog, and What's New together.
